Raising awareness amongst the people of Newfoundland and Labrador that unless corrective measures are taken immediately we will not have a viable nor desirable place for the next generation.

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador has a spending problem. Per capita expenses are approximately 40 per cent higher than the average of all other provinces. .

We are heading down a path where we will no longer be able to pay for the essential  services that our population requires.

Many generations before have chosen to leave Newfoundland and Labrador, with aging demographics, a low fertility rate, limited immigration, we have reached the tipping point.

Action is needed now!


Political courage and bold actions are necessary to solve the current fiscal challenges facing Newfoundlanders and Labradorians in the upcoming budget.  Admitting we have a problem is not enough.

We respectively submit three recommendations to our Provincial Government:

1) Do not commit to a no lay-off guarantee

2) Complete a full program and service review to implement efficiencies and cost savings

3) Commit resources and set targets to grow the population of NL immediately
